The tour will be covering: 

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi – Half-Day City Tour (L, D)

Theme: Welcome to the Capital of Vietnam.

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), your private guide and driver will greet your group with a warm welcome, holding a sign for easy spotting. Transfer ~45 minutes to the local restaurant for lunch and the to your 4* hotel in the city for check-in and a short rest to shake off jet lag.

In the afternoon, embark on a half-day city tour highlighting Hanoi’s colonial charm and bustling streets:

  • Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside)
  • Stroll through the Old Quarter on a green car ride (golf car), weaving past 36 ancient trade streets selling silk, spices, and street food.
  • Visit the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, crossing the iconic red Huc Bridge for photos and tales of the magical sword legend.
  • Enjoy water puppet show – our traditional show, train street (drinks are not included).

Evening: Have dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Ninh Binh Exploration – Return to Hanoi (B, L, D)

Theme: Imperial Past & Karst Landscapes

After a leisurely hotel breakfast, depart Hanoi (~2-hour drive) for Ninh Binh, often called “Halong Bay on land” for its dramatic rice paddies and limestone peaks.

Full-day excursion:

  • Tour the Hoa Lư Ancient Capital (10th-11th century), Vietnam’s first imperial citadel. Wander ruins of kings’ temples amid lush gardens—perfect for group photos.
  • Row a traditional sampan boat through Trang An UNESCO Heritage Site, gliding past emerald waters, hidden caves (Hang Toi, Hang Tam Coc), and towering karsts. (Rowers included; ~2 hours.)

Picnic-style lunch en route with fresh spring rolls and grilled fish. Return to Hanoi by late afternoon for free time—perhaps a coffee at a rooftop café overlooking the chaos. Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi to Sapa – Cat Cat Village Trek (B, L, D)

Theme: Mountains & Ethnic Heritage

Early breakfast, then a scenic ~5-6 hour private coach drive northwest to Sapa (300km), ascending into misty highlands. Arrive Sapa by midday, have lunch at a local restaurant and then transfer to hotel for check into your 4* hotel.

Afternoon: Gentle trek (~2-3km, easy pace) to Cat Cat Village, home to H’Mong hill tribes. Pass terraced rice fields, and visit a traditional stilt house.

Evening dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa – Fansipan Mountain & Moana Sapa (B, L, D)

Theme: Summit Views & Serene Vibes

Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before heading to Fansipan Cable Car Station for the world’s longest 3-rope cable car ride (~6km, 15 minutes) to the “Roof of Indochina” (3,143m). At the summit: Explore French-built remnants, golden Buddha statue, and panoramic 360° views of endless peaks (weather permitting—February’s clear skies often shine). Descend by mid-afternoon.

Relax at Moana Sapa, a Bali-inspired oasis café with cozy nooks, scenic terraces, and Instagram-worthy “Heaven Gate” arches overlooking valleys. Sip Vietnamese coffee or herbal teas while your group unwinds.

Lunch at a local restaurant; dinner back at the hotel. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 5: Sapa – Rong May Glass Bridge – Return to Hanoi (B, L, D)

Breakfast at the hotel, then drive ~17km to the thrilling Rong May Glass Bridge (Cầu Kính Rồng Mây) at O Quy Ho Pass—one of Asia’s highest glass-bottom walkways (150m long, 2,000m above sea level).

Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon drive back to Hanoi (~5-6 hours), arriving evening for dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi to Halong Bay – Overnight on Doria Cruise (B, L, D)

Theme: Emerald Waters & Sunset Magic

Breakfast, then ~3.5-hour drive to Tuan Chau Harbor (group transfer included). Board the luxurious 5 Doria Cruise* (modern superyacht with 28 suites, infinity pool, spa, and sundeck). Tender boat to your private-balcony deluxe cabin.

Cruise into Halong & Lan Ha Bays: Kayak or bamboo boat through turquoise lagoons, swim in hidden coves, and visit Dark & Bright Cave (Sung Sot) for stalactite wonders. Day 7: Halong Bay Cruising – Return to Hanoi & Free Shopping (B, L, D)

Wake to misty bay views and Tai Chi on deck. Breakfast cruise, then optional cooking class (make spring rolls) or bike ride on Cat Ba Island trails. Disembark by noon, shuttle back to Hanoi (~3.5 hours).

Afternoon free for Old Quarter shopping—silk scarves, lacquerware, or coffee beans. Enjoy dinner at Indian restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi Departure (B)

Theme: Safe Travels Home

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Free time until your private transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure flights. If early, optional egg coffee at a historic café.
